The 30st edition of Nordisk Panorama Film Festival, the biggest film festival for Nordic documentaries and short films was the first of my years at the festival as head of the graphic design and visual identity.

With the celebration of 30 years of film I wanted to go back to the roots and the very first year of Nordisk Panorama to bring back the original color of the organisation as the main color of the 2019 edition of the festival. The second change was to create a hollow version of the festivals signature blob. As a way of creating more possibilites and use the signature in a new way in the communication of the festival.







For the 30th edition, I made a special version of the Accreditation Catalogue (perfect bound, 84 pages), I wanted to highlight 30 years of documentary and short films screened at the festival and made a collage on the first spread inside of the catalogue and cut out a part of the first page to create a peakhole into the catalogue. The leftover cuts was used as pennants for the festival locations and as 1000 catalogues were printed for the special edition a lot of pennants were created for the festival. The festival guide (saddle stiched, 48 pages) for the audience of Malmö were printed in 4500 copies. We also created a special edition publication for the video installation “Time Machine”.
